Xiaoyin Li

Yin is currently a 3d Artist at Digital Embryo. She attended Carnegie Mellon University, majoring in Computer Science, minoring in Chinese.

Despite an academic background in computer science, art has always been a major focus in Yin's life. From middle school and on, she devoted much of her time to art as a subject of studies and as a hobby. The gaming industry provides a great opportunity for Yin to work with both creativity and technology.

Yin's interest in art, technology, games, and the gaming industry led to her to take the Building Virtual Worlds course at the Entertainment Technology Center in the fall of her 4th year. Building Virtual Worlds steered her onto a path towards a career that she enjoys.

She also enjoys photography, roadtrips, food, cooking, concerts, design, and typography, not always in that order, and follows far too many food blogs than is good for her. For photography, she uses a Canon Rebel XTi. She's also deeply in addicted to love with coffee.
